The hotel closes from lunchtime on Christmas Eve and reopens on December 27th.
However, the golf courses will be open on Stephen's Day (subject to weather conditions).

dpSpa wins Failte Ireland Award

Deer Park Hotel Golf & Spa are proud to announce that we have been asssessed against the Failte Ireland National Standards and Quality Criteria for the Spa and Wellness Sector and has been awarded the category of "Hotel with Selective Spa". With Ireland frequently being referred to the "Spa Capital of Europe", Failte Ireland have put in place a categorisation scheme to help guests understand the variety of spa and wellness offerings available. Some other hotels that have received this award include Carton House, Four Seasons Hotel, Hayfield Manor Hotel and Westport Woods Hotel.

World Cup - Macroom Style!!!



The Deer Park Desparadoes did us proud last Tuesday at the "World Cup" played at Macroom in Co. Cork.




Sure Trapattoni couldn't have done better - we came sixth first time out!!! (sshhh...only six teams playing!!!) and we even hadn't to deal with "Handy Henry"!!! But watch out - David's gang have got a taste of the good life and will be back - thanks so much to The Castle Hotel in Macroom who organised a great event and ensured everone had a great time!! Well done!!
Please note - Deer Park Desparadoes are now required to undergo a "fitness assessment" at dpGym by order of management!!!

Congratulations to our Sam and his lovely bride, Rebecca, who got married last Saturday!

Sam has been working at Deer Park in our Restaurant since November 2006 - he is such a nice guy and very popular with all the staff and guests. Rebecca came to Ireland from the Philippines to work here and met Sam and so the start of a beautiful relationship!!! We wish them both every happiness in the future.

Taking Action on Cancer

On Sunday, October 18th, 2009 we would like you all to join us on our

"WALK HOWTH PENINSULA" in support of cancer awarness.

This event is organised by Antoinette at Deer Park Hotel and Harriette Lynch of HealthPro.

We need in excess of 600 people to join us to show that your diet and lifestyle can make a difference.

Walk starts from Deer Park Hotel at 2 pm - all are welcome - pram friendly and dogs on leads welcome!!!
